ASV Stochastic Navigation

With a vision to automate environmental monitoring, I worked on a Clearpath Heron autonomous surface vehicle as a summer research intern. I generated water masks of numerous Canadian lakes, evaluated our navigation algorithm against baselines, and created a GUI using ROS and ReactJS to track the robot in field tests.

Clustering Stack Overflow Posts

During my time as a research intern, my most significant contribution was optimizing parameters for hierarchical density-based clustering of Stack Overflow posts. I increased precision by 11.1% and presented my work at the U of T UnERD conference.
